Cooling load peaked exactly when the tariff did, and the centre's charging provision was four bays for 2,400 spaces.

Engineering design

900 kWp of parking canopy PV providing shade and generation, 500 kWh of storage for peak shaving, and 46 bays with dynamic balancing and tenant-linked tariffs.

Installation

Six months, all canopy works overnight to keep the car park operational.

The shaded parking alone changed how customers feel about summer visits.
