84 apartments, one shared energy system

Collective self-consumption across 84 dwellings with allocated generation, communal storage and 62 EV-ready parking bays.

84 apartments, one shared energy system

The challenge

The community wanted solar for all residents and EV charging for a growing number of vehicles, but the building's supply had no headroom and residents needed individual billing.

Engineering design

180 kWp rooftop array under Spain's collective self-consumption framework, with per-dwelling allocation coefficients. 120 kWh of communal storage for the common services, and 62 charging points on a dynamically balanced network capped at the existing supply capacity.

Installation

Fourteen weeks, executed in three phases with no interruption to residents. Existing risers reused where verified; new sub-metering installed for every bay.

AIRVOLT handled the engineering, the regulation and eighty-four separate owners. That last part was the hard one.
