A 140-home community operating as one virtual power plant

Every home with solar and storage, aggregated into a single dispatchable resource with shared backup.

A 140-home community operating as one virtual power plant

The challenge

The developer wanted a genuinely differentiated proposition and residents wanted resilience during summer network stress.

Engineering design

8 kWp and one Powerwall per home as standard, aggregated by a community controller that reserves backup capacity while offering the balance into network support events.

Installation

Rolled out with construction, 4 to 12 homes per week.

Buyers understood it immediately: the house pays you back and it never goes dark.
