Photovoltaic glass tiles that replace the roof covering entirely — indistinguishable from premium tile at street level, generating at every sunlit hour.
Solar Roof makes sense when the roof is being replaced anyway or when a development's design language cannot accept surface-mounted modules. Active and inactive tiles are mixed so the whole plane reads as one material while generation is concentrated where irradiance is highest.
We verify structural loading, underlay and ventilation strategy, penetration detailing and the interface with ridges, valleys, dormers and rooflights. Cabling is routed within the roof build-up to a single combiner, keeping the exterior completely clean.
Solar Roof is almost always specified with Powerwall so that generation is captured rather than exported at low tariff. The Backup Gateway then provides whole-home backup and grid interaction control.
