Daily operation

Through the day, surplus solar charges the battery instead of exporting at a low feed-in tariff. In the evening peak the battery discharges into the house, shaving the most expensive kilowatt-hours off the bill. Overnight, on dynamic tariffs, the system can charge from the grid when prices are lowest.

Backup that you don't notice

With a Backup Gateway installed, transfer to island mode happens in milliseconds. Lighting, refrigeration, comms, heating controls and — where the supply allows — the whole home stay live. We design the backup circuit schedule with you so critical loads are guaranteed and non-essential loads shed automatically.

Installation and electrical requirements

Powerwall is wall or floor mounted, indoors or outdoors, IP67 rated. We verify main breaker rating, board capacity, earthing arrangement (TT/TN-S/TN-C-S), RCD selectivity and metering position, then deliver a full single-line diagram before any work begins.

Lifespan, warranty and economics

Warranted for 10 years with unlimited cycles in solar self-consumption mode. Typical payback on a well-sized residential system in southern Europe sits between 6 and 9 years, improving sharply where dynamic tariffs or capacity charges apply.
