Daily operation
Through the day, surplus solar charges the battery instead of exporting at a low feed-in tariff. In the evening peak the battery discharges into the house, shaving the most expensive kilowatt-hours off the bill. Overnight, on dynamic tariffs, the system can charge from the grid when prices are lowest.
- Self-consumption maximisation
- Time-based control on dynamic tariffs
- Peak shaving on capacity-charged connections
- Storm Watch pre-charging ahead of severe weather
